An ultra-high sensitivity penetrant (Level 4), F-4A-E/2 fluorescent water-washable penetrant is safe for use on alloys in engineering and aerospace use, including aluminum, steel, nickel and titanium.
It can be developed with F-5D/1 dry powder developer or F-4W-SP/1 Water spendable developer in an agitated tank or with F-4S(NT) or R-1S(NT)/1 non-aqueous developer. With a UV-A light source, indications will appear as a bright green-yellow fluorescence.
