F-4A-B/1 is one of the most versatile penetrant (Level 2 Sensitivity) , customers can use this one penetrant for a wide range of applications on a range of parts to find many different types of defects. Broad specification compliance further increases this penetrants flexibility. F-4A-B/1 has excellent alloy compatibility and is safe to use on most engineering and aerospace materials, including aluminum, steel, nickel and titanium
It can be developed with F-5D/1 dry powder developer, with F-4W-SP/1 Water spendable developer in an agitated tank or with F-4S(NT) or R-1S(NT)/1 non-aqueous developer. With a UV-A light source, indications will appear as a bright green-yellow fluorescence.
