A low sensitivity penetrant (Level 1), F-5L/1 fluorescent post-emulsifiable penetrant is designed to be removed from the part surface by emulsifiers or solvent. With a UV-A light source, indications will appear as a bright green-yellow fluorescence.
F-5L/1fluorescent post-emulsifiable penetrant is removed with the aid of F-6E-W/1 hydrophilic emulsifier . It can be developed with F-5D/1 dry powder developer or F-4W-SP/1 Water spendable developer in an agitated tank or with F-4S(NT) or R-1S(NT)/1 non-aqueous developer. With a UV-A light source, indications will appear as a bright green-yellow fluorescence.
